We work across several rural communities in the Chittoor and Tirupati districts, including Sathyavedu, Nagalapuram, Pichatur, Varadaiahpalem, K.V.P. Puram, and Narayanapuram. These areas lie along the Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu borders, where children come from both Tamil and Telugu-speaking families. Due to geographical and language differences, many children in these border regions face challenges in accessing consistent education and support People's Organisation for Wider Education & Rights (POWER) NGO bridges this gap by reaching out to these children and ensuring that they are not left behind in their educational and personal development.

Through our Child Care and Support Program, we have established and assisted child care centres that cater to the needs of children from low-income and vulnerable families. These centres focus on providing a balanced environment that meets children’s physical, emotional, and educational needs. Apart from basic care, we emphasize the importance of health, hygiene, and nutrition, ensuring that children have access to wholesome food and a safe space to study and play.
